The International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service Rapid Service product finals2000A.daily now carries Bulletin A final polar-motion values through 31 August 2026 (Modified Julian Date 61283): x = 0.211445 arcseconds (σ 0.000092), y = 0.339610 arcseconds (σ 0.000090). The ASCII file on the IERS datacenter was last modified 31 August 2026, 1:15 PM EDT. Those numbers locate Earth’s rotation axis relative to the crust. They are not a geomagnetic reversal and not proof of ECDO. This is a newer dated row than the 27 August snapshot already on this board.

The motion of the rotation axis of the Earth relative to the crust is represented by the Earth Orientation Parameter x and y. It has two major components: (i) a free oscillation with period about 435 days (Chandler wobble) and (ii) an annual oscillation forced by the seasonal displacement of air and water masses.

What this is not
This is not a pole-reversal forecast and not a correction of the 27 August note except to add a later official date. Geomagnetic Kp and the World Magnetic Model remain separate NOAA products. Official Earth-orientation data stays separate from the ECDO hypothesis tracked on this lane.
Why it matters
A new daily final is a geodetic update, not a countdown. Some ECDO talk treats each polar-motion tick as evidence of a coming flip. IERS x and y for 31 August 2026 are where the axis sat that day. ECDO remains a tracked hypothesis, not proven science, and is kept off this official-data note. The 1 September row in the same file is flagged P — prediction — and is not used here.
